Review

I read this book on January 8th 2014.

I got this book from the author, in exchange for an honest review.

It is very difficult to write this review, as it was only about 25 pages long. I didn't intend to give this book one star. I was hoping I could give it maybe two, but I couldn't. It isn't that I didn't enjoy the story, but there was absolutely no character development. I know that the book is very, very short, but those are the best type of books to do this type of thing for. If an author can give good character development in a book 5 pages long, they are truly gifted.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that the author isn't gifted, I just didn't like some of this book. I didn't like the lack of character development and the main character. I mean, she doesn't even know this masked guy and she decides she'll sleep with him anyways.
The things I did like about this book was the story. I think that the story was cute, kind of like a Cinderella feel to it. She meets a masked man at a masquerade ball and meets him back in her room. She was a virgin, but that didn't bother me as much this time. I thought it was kind of sweet, but she just gave up her virginity so easily to a guy she didn't know. I mean, she might have, but she didn't "know" who is was, as he had on a mask, then she had on a blindfold.
I don't like the cover much, but it makes total sense for the book. I just hope that isn't the mask the guy was wearing, because it looks a little feminie.
This book definitely leaves you wanting more because I feel it was left without a great resolution. It was very easy to figure out who the guy was as well. This is one of the many reasons why I don't read many short stories. I love how easy they are to read, but I can't ever give them high ratings. I don't know why. I'm just like that
